"I Can Do It" Virtual Evening Sessions
New Teachers: Register for MNEA’s Beginning Teacher Assistance Program, “I Can Do It”.
Teachers with an initial Missouri certification to teach must complete a beginning teacher assistance program one time, and it is best if they attend in their first year or two of teaching. While several organizations offer BTAP, “I Can Do It” is designed to empower new educators. “I Can Do It” now consists of four synchronous live sessions in one month, plus some asynchronous sessions in order to meet all state required topics. Cost is $35 for MNEA members, $70 for non-members. Registration closes five days before the event or when filled. Register here!
MNEA NBCT Network Dates
The Missouri NEA NBCT Network offers National Board Candidate Boost days and opportunities for current NBCTs to get involved in supporting candidates. These virtual Saturday events will be Nov. 14, Feb. 27, and April 10.
